Despite being my slowest of seven marathons, today’s @ecmarathon provided the most fun & joy of all in a season of life that has been crazy and chaotic. Struggling to finish strong in the heat, Eau Claire provided a course and people I’ll never forget. My team rarely gets the spotlight but Alicia, family, and friends were the reason I kept moving.

After I was done, my runners high lasted through the afternoon at the Barstow Block Party cheering on runners and culminated seeing my dad cross the finish line in his first marathon after a rough road of training.
